What is Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort?

Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort is a destination resort and integrated sports tournament and training facility located Mesquite, Nevada. The 210 smoke-free room sports resort serves as the hub for a wide spectrum of activities in the Southwest, and is a destination retreat not just for sports teams, but for individuals, families, and golfers as well!

Where is the Rising Star located?

The Rising Star is ideally located at 333 N. Sandhill Blvd in the resort town of Mesquite, NV, just off I-15’s Exit 122.

Why is the Rising Star Resort located in Mesquite?

As one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, the City of Mesquite has invested over $30 million into its parks and recreation areas over the last decade. The city is now home to some of the finest baseball fields, soccer fields, gymnasiums, racquetball courts, and aquatic facilities in the nation. All of Mesquite’s facilities are within a 10-minute drive, giving teams more time to practice and more time together versus other locations.

What makes the Rising Star unique?

Rising Star is one of the first hotel-resorts in the nation specifically designed with sports teams and camps in mind.

Rooms

The resort offers 210 rooms with 487 beds, able to sleep 784 people. Bunkrooms have been specifically designed to fit the needs of sports teams. Each bunkroom can accommodate up to six people, and has an adjoining standard room for chaperones. Every child can have his/her own bed while being in the same room as teammates or family members. Since the resort is also within a ten-minute drive of seven golf courses, our rooms are designed with the golfer in mind. Special room types will offer golfers ground-floor access to a semi-private patio that overlooks the pool.

Concierge services

The Rising Star employs a specialized sales team that can assist event and tournament coordinators by marrying the process of reserving fields and courts with rooming lists, restaurant reservations, and catered events, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience that is currently not offered today.

Meeting Spaces

Our 7,000 square-foot ballroom is designed to accommodate banquets of over 300 people. Coaches’ Rooms are available as well, providing teams or groups with a place to strategize and relax.

Technology

The Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort is the first hotel in Nevada to feature the Relay autonomous delivery robot. Designed by Silicon Valley robotics company Savioke, Champ (our Relay unit) will wow guests by delivering an extra pillow, blanket, candy bar, or slice of pizza to any guest room! Using advanced sensors, Relay safely navigates around people and objects, and can even operate the elevators on his own.

The Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort is also the first hotel in Nevada to feature Beam+ security robots. Designed in California by Suitable Technologies, Beam units are manned by Rising Star security employees and can drive up and down the hallways to interact with guests and ensure that everything is safe.

No need to worry about your hotel room key becoming demagnetized when you stay with us; Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort features innovative RFID room key technology. Guests can choose to use a standard credit card-sized key or an RFID enabled wristband to wave in front of the door to gain entry.

What amenities are offered?

As one of the Southwest’s premier destinations for sports events, Rising Star Sports Ranch provides a variety of amenities for families, groups and teams. From the fast casual restaurant serving pizza, wings and other crowd favorites, to the oversized social area featuring a basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, corn hole, picnic tables, barbecue grills and a swimming pool, it’s clear to see why so many people are bringing their groups to Mesquite!

When did the Rising Star Resort open?

The Rising Star opened October 1, 2016. Phase II brought the addition of an on-site field house and athletic fields in May of 2017.

Who owns the Rising Star?

Urban Land of Nevada is a Lee family enterprise with over 40 years of investment and development in Nevada. The Lee Family developed Eureka Casino in Las Vegas and Eureka Casino Resort in Mesquite, as well as a variety of commercial office, warehouse, and retail properties throughout Southern Nevada. Lee family members endowed the Lee School of Business at UNLV, and actively participate on the boards of the UNLV Foundation, Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority (LVCVA), and Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce.

How many rooms do I need to reserve to be considered a group?

We offer special group pricing to any group that is reserving at least eight rooms.

What kinds of group discounts are offered?

Are you pet friendly?

Guests may bring a dog along for an additional charge. There is a dedicated potty area where we ask you to kindly clean-up after your pet. Please inquire about fees and availability prior to arrival.

Is the Rising Star a smoke-free hotel?

Yes, the hotel rooms at Rising Star are 100% smoke-free.

Are there any resort fees?

We are all resort, but no resort fee! We believe you should only have to pay tax beyond the quoted price.

How close are the fields to the resort?

Rising Star Sports Ranch is ideally located within about a 10-minute drive from every golf course and playing field in Mesquite. Some facilities, like the Mesquite Recreation Center, are within walking distance. Learn More

Are your hotel rates per person or per room?

Our hotel rates are per room, but we charge a fee of $25 per person for up to two guests staying beyond the standard capacity of the room type. Standard and Deluxe Rooms have a capacity of four people, Bunk Rooms sleep five people, and Super Team Bunk Rooms sleep 12 people.

Is breakfast included in my rate?

Breakfast is not included in your room rate, but can be purchased on-site at our convenience store next to the front desk, or via robot room service. Learn More

Can I check in early or check out late?

Early check-in or late checkout requests will be accommodated as frequently as possible. Please make your request in advance.

I have to cancel my reservation. What's your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made at least one day prior to check in will be cancelled without penalty. Same-day cancellations will be charged one night’s room and tax.
