ADAM SILVA

Adam Silva served on the U.S. Lacrosse national board of directors from 2011 to 2014, during which time he sat on the sport development committee, the men’s game subcommittee, and the diversity/inclusion task force. He is currently a member of the National Advisory Council for the One Love Foundation http://www.joinonelove.org/meet_the_team, whose mission is to end relationship violence by educating, empowering, and activating campus communities in a movement for change. He is highly recognized lacrosse coach at the high school, elite club, and collegiate levels. Adam was a USILA High School All-American, and served as men’s lacrosse team captain at the United States Military Academy (West Point).

Adam continued his service to the men and woman of our Armed Forces through his work at the Wounded Warrior Project. As Chief Programs Officer for Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), Adam is responsible for providing strategic direction, management, and coordination for programs and services in the areas of engagement, mind, body, and economic empowerment. Adam has also served as chief development officer, director of resource development and director of people. Additionally, Adam played a central role in establishing the WWP mission, vision, and values.

Adam serves the Rising Star Advisory Board heading up not only the lacrosse programming, but the youth leadership development programming, as well as recruitment counseling.

JOE ABUNASSAR

Joe began his career coaching basketball alongside legendary Hall of Fame coach Bob Knight at Indiana University, helping the team earn two Big Ten Championships and a Final Four appearance. He then moved on to coach at the University of Wyoming.

Joe went on to develop his basketball skill and performance training business in Bloomington, Indiana. His early group of clients included Kevin Garnett, Chauncey Billups, Tyronn Lue, Al Harrington, Tayshaun Prince, and Dahntay Jones, who would all go on to have very successful and lengthy NBA careers while continuing to train with Joe. He then started IMG Basketball Academy in Sarasota, Florida – now a nationally recognized high school and youth team basketball program.

In 2006, Joe founded Impact Basketball in Las Vegas, Nevada and Los Angeles, California. Impact trained over 200 NBA professionals in 2015 alone, including All-Stars Demarcus Cousins, Kyle Lowry, Kawhi Leonard, Rudy Gay, Kristaps Prozingas, and 12 first-round draft picks. Impact also trains men’s and women’s national teams, McDonalds and NCAA All-Americans, and foreign professionals, as well as numerous talented youth players from all over the world participating in Impact Youth Summer Training Camps and Impact Academy.

JEAN RYAN

With over 20 years of sports marketing, media and advertising experience, Jean Ryan is knowledgeable about many aspects of the sports and entertainment business, and has a proven track record of successful marketing platforms. Through her extensive experience she has built strong relationships throughout the sports business. At Double X Sports her role includes representing properties, event management, marketing, and managing athletes such as Sandra Gal, Nancy Lopez and Karen Stupples. She also serves as Director, Marketing & Partnerships for the ShopRite LPGA Classic, where she oversees the events marketing, sponsorship fulfillment, and managing the day-to-day relationship with their multiple corporate partners.

Jean was the Vice President of International Business at the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), and was instrumental in developing the PBR into a well-known international property. Prior to PBR, Jean spent four years as Vice President of Business Development at IMG. While at IMG, she secured, managed, and maintained consultant-based services; she also developed sports and entertainment custom marketing programs for clients. Her clients included Campbell’s Soup, the DNC, McCormick Seasonings, Marriott, Merck, Allstate, and Kleenex. Before joining IMG, Jean was an Account Director at ESPN, where she was responsible for selling online and new media inventory.
