Rising Star is a destination resort and integrated sports tournament and training facility located in Mesquite, Nevada. The 210 smoke-free room sports resort serves as the hub for a wide spectrum of activities in the Southwest, and is a destination retreat not just for sports teams, but for individuals, families, and golfers as well!

The Rising Star is ideally located at 333 N. Sandhill Blvd in the resort town of Mesquite, NV, just off I-15’s Exit 122.

Rooms
The resort offers 210 rooms with 487 beds, able to sleep 784 people. Bunkrooms have been specifically designed to fit the needs of sports teams. Each bunkroom can accommodate four to 12 people and have an adjoining deluxe room for chaperones. Every child can have his/her own bed while being in the same room as teammates or family members. Since the resort is also within a ten-minute drive of seven golf courses, our rooms are designed with the golfer in mind. Special room types will offer golfers ground-floor access to a semi-private patio that overlooks the pool.

Concierge Services
The Rising Star employs a specialized sales team that can assist event and tournament coordinators by marrying the process of reserving fields and courts with rooming lists, restaurant reservations, and catered events, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience that is currently not offered today.

Meeting Spaces
Our 30,000 square-foot fieldhouse and  7,000 square-foot ballroom are designed to accommodate banquets large and small. Coaches’ rooms are available as well, providing teams or groups with a place to strategize and relax.

Technology
The Rising Star is the first hotel in Nevada to feature Beam+ security robots. Designed in California by Suitable Technologies, Beam units are manned by Rising Star security employees and can drive up and down the hallways to interact with guests and ensure that everything is safe.

No need to worry about your hotel room key becoming demagnetized when you stay with us; Rising Star features innovative RFID room key technology. Guests can choose to use a standard credit card-sized key or an RFID enabled wristband to wave in front of the door to gain entry.
 

As one of the Southwest’s premier destinations for sports events, Rising Star Sports Ranch provides a variety of amenities for families, groups and teams. With an oversized social area featuring a basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, corn hole, picnic tables and a swimming pool, it’s clear to see why so many people are bringing their groups to Mesquite!

The Rising Star opened on October 1, 2016. Phase II brought the addition of an on-site field house and athletic fields in May of 2017.

Urban Land of Nevada is a Lee family enterprise with over 40 years of investment and development in Nevada. The Lee Family developed Eureka Casino in Las Vegas and Eureka Casino Resort in Mesquite, as well as a variety of commercial office, warehouse, and retail properties throughout Southern Nevada. Lee family members endowed the Lee School of Business at UNLV, and actively participate on the boards of the UNLV Foundation, Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority (LVCVA), and Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Guests may bring a dog along for an additional charge. There is a dedicated potty area where we ask you to kindly clean up after your pet. Please inquire about fees and availability prior to arrival.

Yes, the hotel rooms at Rising Star are 100% smoke-free.

Rising Star is ideally located within about a 10-minute drive from every golf course and playing field in Mesquite. Some facilities, like the Mesquite Recreation Center, are within walking distance.

Our hotel rates are per room, but we charge a fee of $25 per person for up to two guests staying beyond the standard capacity of the room type. Standard and Deluxe Rooms have a capacity of four people, Bunk Rooms sleep five people, and Super Team Bunk Rooms sleep 12 people.

Breakfast is not included in the guest room rate. Groups may arrange a catered meal through the banquets department.

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. Early check-in or late check-out requests will be accommodated as frequently as possible. Please make your request in advance.

Cancellations made at least one day prior to check in will be cancelled without penalty. Same-day cancellations will be charged one night’s room and tax.
